“The Big Three”
The enquiry is designed to pin down three critical variables before any creative work begins:
Style & Inspiration: You’ll likely be asked for a Pinterest board or magazine clippings. This helps the designer "speak your language" (e.g., distinguishing between "Modern" and "Contemporary").
Timeline: Are you hoping to be done by the holidays, or is this a long-term project?
Budget: You should expect to discuss a range. Designers use this to determine if they should source from high-end custom showrooms or more accessible retailers.
